    Hello,

how do I know if Google put my page in Supplimental index? Strange thing is that my site is pretty popular (2800 uniques/day), I have a nice number of backlinks, but I am not even in first 100 search resoults for any of the keywords for my site. There are sites that come out on the first page that have a lower PR and fewer backlinks than mine, they are even off the topic to that key word.

Why is that? My page was launched about 2 months ago and if has always been the same.

Do not ever use duplicate content in your web pages. If the content is more or less similar in the multiple webpages of your website, Google will put your page into the supplemental database

then i don't think u shld be in the supplemental results as its mainly for sites with PR that is not high enough to be included in main results. Besides, top 100 search results is not easy to achieve. Try using various search engine tools to search the search results on the position of your site. And being only 2mths old, u will be lucky if it gets within the first 1000 SERPs for popular keywords ;)

Thank you for this tip!!! Only 2 of my sub pages, that are not really important are in supplimental resoults. Now I can see that Google actually writes - Supplemental Result - next to the page!!! This answers all my questions and preyers.

    THANK YOU AGENTD!!!!!!

The following link leads to a list of issues that appear to toss pages into supplemental results. There are other issues beyond duplicate content, but that does appear to be the main cause.
