What's the best method for determining how many pages are in the Google supplemental index?

I usually take the difference in the number of pages returned by:
    site:www dot domain dot com

    and

    site:/www dot domain dot com

I'm not sure if there is better or more accurate way.

The first is every page indexed and the second is every page in the primary index?

My results are 255 and 184.

    255-184=71

    71/255 = 27.8% Supplemental

    Is this correct? Thanks.
