I think its a thing called "trust"

Say youre married and have three daughters of various ages and you have a choice of the following to watch them

    A complete stranger

    a complete lunatic

    your mother...

Now chances are you would have no trust for the first two choices since you do not know neither one of them....

Now your mom you trust as you know her...even if she is a strange lunatic :)

So this is Googles quandry...do they trust the new webmaster forum that has just started a website last week..... or do they trust DP Forums???

The answer is simple once you understand the question....

His all go to one site where yours and mine go to different sites.

Not that in the grand scheme of things it makes any of us any better or our sites rankings any better.....but one could hurt a bit more than the other I would think... in the same retrospect..

Also it should be noted that compared to the issues he is having with Google and building his business... those links are of very little consequence at this point.

    Peace

Let me first say I didn't look at your site...

If you have built a decent site with quality, unique content and your pages are in the SI it's because you lack links. Start building and attracting quality links and you'll likely see you pages in the RI.

This NOT the way the SI was functioning prior to BD. A page USED to get put in the SI to rot because of duplicate content etc. and it REMAINED there until you changed all the things that landed it there. It got put there because of a problem.

I'll type this slowly because some folks seem to be missing this point...

Good unique content is NOT ENOUGH to get your entire site indexed. Good unique content is NOT ENOUGH to get all your pages in the regular index. You also must meet a certain threshold of link popularity in order for your good unique content to be deemed worthy to place in the regular index. If you do not meet the link threshold, your good unique content will end up in the supplemental index.
