Congratulations on the birth of your second child Kaudo - that's wonderful news.

What you must remember - even at times like this - is that you are NOT a loser. As you yourself have said, you have worked hard on the sites and to begin with they brought a handsome income.

The fact that Google is basically a f****** mess at the moment is no reflection on your webmaster abilities.

Don't let it get to you.

Visio, aaron from seobbok has 7 pages in main (hp, relevancy, answers, archives tools and conferences) and the rest in supplemental.
AndyJenkins has just 1 result out of supplemental. I don´t know brad fallon, but the site:www.bradfallon.com shows 3 in-main results but everything else in the supplementals.

Shoulxd the above make me more happy?

I trust myself more than them...

Thank you JackR you´re helping a lot but do you have the different experiences from the last week? Spicegirls seem to be in the same pit having only 3 pages in the main index.

Your girls are beautiful, how many of them is from the central/eastern part of the Europe (Slovakia, Czech, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia)?

In my opinion, supplemental pages are pages that, in the eye of google, won't get a lot of traffic.I know authority sites in my niche that have supplemental without having duplicated content on them.

Little better from today, some 20% of those sites in main index, rest supplemental. It´s like a YOYO.

Where do you see only three pages Kaudo?

    In the UK I'm getting:

... the same if I search using a US Proxy.

But site:www.dogflu.ca/ is showing mostly supplementals....
Are there any sites left that don't show mostly supplemental using the site command? I just checked DP and it's the same, as is google.com. Perhaps 'real' results are shown somewhere way below all the supplementals?
Time to abandon the site: command and get back to work, I think. It's just depressing me.

I really think people are giving too much merit to the supplemental results. I really do not think they mean what many think they mean.

I agree with both of you, Rasputin and Mia.

Google is in shambles at the moment and they are throwing things in and out of supplemental as part of the process. It may be that this simply represents the mess the index is in. Or it may be that this is what the future will look like for Google as they continue to try to increase the number of pages indexed: eventually, home pages (or the pages with the most backlinks) will be "featured" and everything else will be "supplemental", much as with the Google "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the x already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.".

This is from the us proxy, I also checked
    http://www.seochat.com/googledance/
and you can find all your pages in supplemental index, starting from the 4th in the list, which for me is London Escort Services - Escorts in London

It´s because it doesn´t matter. Supplemental index is independent from the main one, as I understand it.

I also think supplemental index is something like a backup DB of indexed sites.
The pages in supplemental index are being crawled much less frequently as those in main index, you can check it when clicking on the CACHED results in the Google SERPS for your site: command.

For example the Spicegirls from the above show results from this February.

From my point of view, getting your pages TO SUPPLEMENTAL is definitely a good thing as they will stay there for a long time and Google at least has something to show from your site if you are deindexed from the main index.

Anyway, it´s much better to be in both indexes, in my opinion.

The main index, as I feel it, is separate, and if the search phrase has a relevant match in your page from the main index, it will push it to SERPs.
