It's back up now. I guess the webform went down for a little bit. exphplist: 10 with double opt-ins. There still a few in there that haven't clicked the confirm link new domain list: None confirmed yet, but I've just got my first articles accepted within the last 30minutes. I have 1 person so far, but they haven't verified yet.
Well, didn't get that much of new opt-ins this week. I didn't get many clicks or views from my articles because I rushed them last week and didn't do proper keywords. Let that be a lesson. The next ones that get accepted all have specific keywords focused, so they should be improved. Also, I noticed people aren't clicking the confirm links on the exphplist people. I went in and edited the confirmation email subject line and hopefully that will make them take a look at the damn email. Calibration is so fun.
Well, after changing the subject on the confirmation emails, things look better. I don't have enough data points to come to a statistical conclusion, but it appears people are confirming better.
I've decided to just go straight articles for opt-ins, instead of half optins half sale pages. I need to get more in faster, so I can at least start doing some testing to see how effective things are.
I had my first sale resulting from email marketing. It came from the "exphplist". I'm actually surprised I made a sale, since I didn't really do any sales letter, and I almost did an offtopic soft sell at the end of a few emails. It's only $17.98, but it gives me the confidence that this email marketing works. Plus, I sold to this person, and I have the potential of selling to them again. Bling Bling.
Good stuff, Supper. I am getting ready to try this out next so its fun watching your results. Keep up the journal!
Here is something cool to take into consideration. This particular product requires me to get a 100 clicks from a sales page to maybe get a sale. I have 30 people on this particular opt-in list and made a sale. I like those numbers.
Well, for my two lists, the opt-ins are doing good. I'm getting anywhere between 42-52%. Pretty good for my first squeeze pages. If I continue with this pace, I should have a nice sexy large list in a few months. I'm going to also work on researching a new niche for a high paying product. Instead of offering an email course, I'm going to just make pdf and see how that goes.
That's pretty good. Also, you should really watch this video, it's by Armand Morin... He's got like a 70% opt in rate. http://internetmarketingexplained.com/blog/opt-in-pages/
Thanks for the video. I'll watch it. Did ezine articles hire new people to do reviews or did my account get upgraded to super dooper platinum because I'm getting pretty fast reviews now. I took the weekend off and articles I've wrote in the last 30 minutes have been accepted already. I don't know what's happening now, but I'm loving it.
Actually, I would love an update on your article marketing journal as well, Supper. Any new sales from older articles?
