Is it really unlimited? It is Unlimited/Unmetered. That means the system will never count the space and bandwidth you use, so, actually we will never know how much space you have occupied, for you it is practically unlimited.
yes, you are quite right, james25313. however, if an account has no metering then we just unable to see what exact space it occupies. according to our experience, about 80% of private accounts are small, just about 1GB or less, and some 15% are from 1GB to 5GB, and just about 5% of accounts are large indeed. Thus, in average, all the accounts are... medium-sized, as almost everything in this life besides, as it is clearly explained in our TOS, we accept any file sizes and any file quantities if the files belong to websites. In other words, we are not a file hosting service... But anyway, if you have huge collections of pictures or sounds or the like, you should never worry about the space -- your website will be hosted happily no matter its size or space. thank you for the question.
So its unmetered as long as you use what you need and not use as a personal storage. That is fair. This is actually typical of most hosting Ive used to prevent abuse.
yes, right, it is actually unmetered, the only problem is that many people prefer the word "unlimited", in my opinion this is practically the same since we have no idea what space is occupied by this or that website. the plan is TOTALLY unmetered, all other metering is turned off as well (like bandwidth, FTP, Mailboxes, etc). in fact, such hosting (unlimited) is simpler to manage, we spend less time on them, and "unlimited clients" almost never bother us with their questions because everything is unlimited and uncontrolled. such clients feel more freedom, i.e. they are happier than "limited" ones thank you.
