designfxpro -- They all look great! The others who have posted are right-on about your sketching skills. The second and third pictures are my favorites. Tashy -- Great job with the changes!
Thanks fireboat. Ok, we will render it and we will send it before the end of the day or tomorrow. Thanks.
It looks marvelous designfx. It may look even more nice if you make the eyes blue or green. Green perhaps, since it matches the dress. And girls love it when their cloths matches the color of their eyes haha. Greets, -Semi
WOW... this thread is a mess. DesignFX your work is exquisite for fifty dollars. Im going to be contacting you in the future. Well done.
Designfxpro-- More detailed feedback, now that I have more time to comment. I DO like it as it is now. Absolutely fabulous. But, for some experimental tweaking ideas: 1. I'd be interested to know what it looks like with different colored letters on the bottom. I actually like the white letters you used for the word "worksheets". Wondering what it would look like with white letters outlined in red. 2. Only other thought would be to experiment with the gloves. Color, style, or fit. At first, I see them and think of superhero gloves. Then when I stare at her a bit, they kind of remind me of "cleaning lady" gloves. I think it's awesome as-is, though. I'm nit picking. Definitely a top contender for the prize tomorrow (Saturday). My favorite part is the "Web 2.0" look to it. The whole logo has a great shine, a great 3D-like appearance-- kind of like you see in CGI movies. She's definitely a balanced mix of teacher and superhero. The detail in her face, glasses and books are phenominal.
Awesome work DFX - as always. . That's spot on a winner. Hi to fireboat. Another cool contest with high quality entries.
Thanks for the quick feedback..ok we will try to revise it according to your suggestions. Thanks Cool and weblazer... ...MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAs!!!
Wow... another GREAT contest comes to a close. Many, many thanks to all who have entered. I had a few favorites here, but unfortunately I can only pick one winner. (I'm not just saying that to be polite-- I really mean it.) At the end, Luvlee posted an amazing entry. I was really torn between Luvlee's superhero and DesignFX's Superteacher. Even though DesignFX has a superior quality graphic that absolutely blew me away, I am choosing Luvlee's as the winner because her final design compliments the site's current header and fits in perfectly with the theme of the site. A super-huge thank you to everyone who entered... I can see that a great deal of time and effort went into the entries! Luvlee-- $50 to you. Cheers to all!
