Looking for an artist who can create a square superhero logo for my website. Prize: $50 Earlybird Bonus: I'll give a $5 earlybird bonus to the first two serious entrants who gets the ball rolling. Site: Super Teacher Worksheets Text: "Super Teacher Worksheets" Graphic: Unique, original, fun cartoon image of a superhero. Should have a school/teacher theme. Please be sure it's completely your own work. Color scheme: Needs to compliment the header and general color scheme of the site. Shape & Size: Square. About 300 x 300, but it should be re-sizeable. Other notes: I *think* staying with my current header. (But not positive.) I don't want the same superhero in the logo as in the header, but they should compliment each other. If you want to use the same font as the header, I think it's called cheeseburger from fonts.com. Be creative and have fun. Super hero can be male or female. Would be great if the superhero was flying with an apple... or near a school or with a test paper... or anything to give it a school theme. Rules-- Contest ends Saturday, July 26 around 8:00pm eastern time. All entries should be posted in this forum for all to see. Winner will be paid via paypal. If I don't see what I'm looking for, I reserve the right to extend or cancel the contest. Any questions-- just ask. Thanks in advance for to all who enter. I've been overwhelmed at the professional qualitiy of artwork in my other contests. Look at the great headers people have created for me: Teaching Job Site (user: Luvlee), Math Riddle Book (coolwanz), Word Searches (Fraz), Teaching Interview (coolwanz). I am excited to see what y'all come up with!
No necessarily. I suppose it could be round too. I need to be able to resize it to 100x100, 200x200, 300x300, 400x400, etc. Round or square or triangular or whatever. So long as it looks great and easy-to-read.
Thanks, iTrungs! It looked good, but as I mentioned I need a cartoon superhero in the logo. - Fireboat P.S. Please feel free to post entries in the thread for all to see.
Hey there, I've designed this. Tell me what you think of the "action figure". I'm still working on it, but this is the concept. Greets, Semi
Since the concept was to implement a superhero cartoon character with teacher worksheet concept..here it is wat i have to show my work... A Super Hero With Worksheet in Hand.
that's a cool design but it seems the fonts used does not compliment the character plus there's really a blurry part on the face of the character. Is it a watermark?
Luvlee..Thanx for Comments!! Yes,Its My watermark "Royan design". That will be removed if i will win this.
could you maybe humor us fellow designers and post up your working sketch or something? because the edges are uneven, like someone went over them with an eraser tool. and the "s" on the chest doesn't match the "s" in your text. and also you forgot to erase the grey background between the tassel and the top of the cap oh, and semiperfectus... nice captain underpants.
Yeah i've just spent (well, wasted) about 10 mins trying to find that on google images because it's almost 100% a ripped design. If the guy was that good at drawing, he wouldn't be so piss poor at making the text look good surely? Also as l3fty said, it's a bad crop job too!
lol thanks l3fty. It had to be a superhero right? He's my superhero haha. My design has nothing to do with school, but I think it rocks lol. -Semi
right on the money Davey... everyone who's good at design will know that it was a ripped design. the text does not compliment the character after all and by the looks and color of the font and mascot, I can say that 2 different designers made that design...the other one is really good (the mascot) and the other one is very bad (the text logo) lol...I can believe that there are still guys who thinks that they can pull up something like this...
He's also copyright @dfx : yeah, it amazes me time after time the stunts people pull! Sure it's only $50 but is adding some poor text to someone else's work worth that? No.
cute it is, but i think the CH would want something original. maybe you could use him as an inspiration instead of an entry.
