    Hi There

I have a FREE Virus / Malware removal guide here

It is a step by step guide to removing and protecting yourself from viruses / malware.

£79.99 for software you can get FREE / virus removal is a bit pricey

Or if your not comfortable with the steps then we can do it over the internet for you.

    Regards

    This will work

Download Malwarebytes and copy the installer to a USB key

Reboot into safe-mood (repeatedly tapping F8 before boot)

    Install and scan

    Clean infected files

    Hi There

Yes I do recommend MBAM as part of the cleaning process however that is NOT the complete solution and DOES NOT provide realtime protection.

    I'd recommend:

    For cleaning

    MBAM for malware cleaning
Avast / AVG / AVIRA for virus removal
Virus total to scan suspicious files
    An online AV scan

    For future protection

    One real time AV
    SpywareGuard
    SpywareBlaster
FireFox with NoScript and MalwareSearch add-ons
    Sandboxie
Windows Steady State for kids / limited users
    Comodo Firewall

My guide explains it all here

    Regards

ya but well say that the confricker virus it wont alow u to do it with the new varients that attack ur pc
nad i read on a anther website that u can test if you have the virus aka ( confiker a b c d e )
just google (confiker eye cart) and if u cant see all of 6 images u have oneor more variant of the confiker virus.
and run in safe mode some times it doesnt help cause the virus i had on my old computer which i found out was variant's b c i could not run safe mood i could not shut off my computer and the only way i got it off was to take in into ffuture shop cause if u have any form of confiker virus it will not allow u to access any anti malware or virus or spy ware website or any anti virus software that is on your cpmputer it will not run with any form of the confiker orr as pros say (downadup)so i found it best to take it in to any future shop and noe i have 0 virus or any variants of the confiker (downadup) virus. so all i am sayin if u have that kinda virus let the pros take care of it for a small fee

    Hi There

If you cannot boot into Windows even Safe Mode then use a boot CD / USB with the appropriate virus / malware removal tools (including conficker) built in.

I have written a guide on how to create a bootable USB drive here

There is NO need to pay a repair shop to remove a virus. There are even good virus / malware removal forums which will read a log of your system and advise you how to remove.

    Regards

Nod32 is a military strength antivirus that is also very low on resources.

It's very expensive, but if you look in the right places, a torrent or free download might be somewhere, or try the trial version.

Avast! and Nod32 together have statistically, either or both of them, found every single virus thrown in a testing procedure. Download both and see what you can get out of it.

I use Kaspersky 2009, with MalwareBytes. I usually notice that Kaspersky will pick up the bigger viruses, and MalwareBytes will always pick up the pieces left from the good 'ol Kaspersky!

Well it depends on what Window you are using. I use AVAST anti-virus for Windows Vista, i think AVAST works best.
