So far, WV is done. Paul was eliminated on the first ballot, and Huckabee won the convention on the second ballot. He won by grabbing McCain and Paul's support, Paul's campaign traded his support with Huckabee for for 3 National Convention delegates.

    Nice mate.

Super Dooper Tuesday coverage starts here at 2300GMT (1800EST) on CNN.

It's the only US Cabal channel I can get and I will be tuning in to see them completely ignore RP (or not as the case may be.)

Can we keep this thread for all debates tonight about Super Dooper Yankee Doodle Do Tuesday? Save having loads of threads running.

Yes, let's use this as the master thread.

So basically, Huckabee draws first blood today by winning the WV Convention, and Paul traded his 10% in WV into 20% of the delegates.

It's important for all 3 other candidates that McCain stumble today, so that the convention becomes brokered.

Btw, Huckabee and Paul need to win in at least 5 states/territories to be eligible to be nominated. Winning is defined as having the majority of state delegates, not winning primary preference polls (popular vote).

Well I'll be relying on your expertise in this because your process in the USA is way more complicated than ours in the UK.

I hope RP gets a good showing mate and I do hope McCain stumbles, even at the expense of putting EnRom back into the limelight.

The CNN coverage is quite honestly shocking, they still refuse to even mention Paul, it's an absolute disgrace and confirms everything about the MSM pandering to who they are told to.

I've been watching BBC News from the morning, and these folks don't even know there are 4 Republican candidates instead of 3.

Ron Paul has no mention of the coverage of Super Tuesday... :(

It was a blackout again. No big deal.

I'm way behind on the results, had a busy night. Get something posted up later today.

McCain won New Jersey. Or did he?

This is exactly why it is premature to crown a victor, the majority of the population has no idea how the nomination process actually works, and relies on TV to tell them who has won, right or wrong. WAKE UP!

We have a defacto two party system. The issue is that the States are trying to run the primaries when they belong to their respective political parties.
