Hi Everyone. I'd like to pose this question to the forum in the hopes that it's not a silly one. I've searched the index and was unable to find answeres to this issue. There are a lot of new software popping up which are able to generate 10,000 to 30,000 keyword list pertaining to a single topic/niche/keyword in short amount of time. Some of these keywords are going to be very inecpensive and would make sense using in Adwords campaigns. My question is three fold: 1- Google doesn't like dumping of thousands of keywords in campaigns. How does one get around that? 2- Is this an effective tactic in seeing which ones work and "peeling & sticking" the good ones in their own group? 3- Besides Perry Marshall's book, what other resource/ebook do you suggest in learning the latest and most effective techniques in dealing with keywords. i.e. less words v. large super lists etc. Thanks in advance for any help you might send my way. Ed
I have tens of thousands of keywords in campaigns and Google doesn't seem to mind. I'm pretty sure the limit per AdWords account is 50,000 keywords. If you top that you'll need to open a second account. It can be. It can also be an expensive way to test things if you're not careful I've never read Perry's book so I can't comment on it. You just posted to one of the best AdWords resources on the net'...DP I don't think I've ever seen a question posted here that someone couldn't answer. I've learned more here than I have from every AdWords related book I've ever read. Good luck!
more keywords in the basket, more profit for AdWords. Axandra Successful Advertising with Google AdWords.pdf I found some small mistakes there but still nice ebook. Don't know if they have something updated as the copy that I got is old now.
GuyFromChicago and MicroMag... THANKS a million. You folks on DP are absolutely awesome. Thanks again. Ed
As far as I know you can have up to 2000 keywords in one adgroup. Sign up for adwordaccelerator.com email course. It's free and offers very interesting stuff.
