Super Bowl Predictions?

Kansas City Chiefs versus Philadelphia Eagles.

There has been a little noise in the media about a conspiracy theory that the Chiefs are getting preferential treatment by the ref's during games because the NFL wants them in the Super Bowl so that Taylor Swift attends to support her boyfriend (All Star Tight End Travis Kelce.) It would also be a threepeat for KC. I doubt that there is such a conspiracy (I doubt that it makes that much of a difference having Taylor in the crowd, in fact.) But I do wonder if the ref's will purposely tilt against KC in this game to show the world that there is no bias.

Mostly because of that, I am thinking that the Eagles will win it. Your predictions?

Been a Chiefs' fan for a few years now. It'll be a tough game, the Eagles is a tough team to beat, but I wish KC Chiefs nothing but victory. I was initially agitated by all the TS / TK hoopla but I think they (the media and everyone else) now found a happy medium where she is not the center of everything anymore. No comment as far as the refs concerned.

Funny, totally OT story that this thread made me remember:

About 15 or so years ago, I was In Baltimore Intl Airport (BWI) waiting for my short-hop connecting flight to Providence. I had bought my then 7-year-old son a toy at the gift shop and now had to find something for my 16-year-old daughter. There was a make-up store (forget the name) in the concourse, so I walked into it and there were two tall girls about my daughter's age standing there with guitar travel cases slung on their backs. I walked up to them and told them that I could use their help picking something out for my daughter. The blonde (the other was a brunette) quickly picked up a small container and said, "Get her this. I use it all the time!". I thought that it was a small container of gold glitter lip gloss but was later informed that it was gold glitter eye shadow. Anyway, I thanked her, went up to the cashier and paid for the item. As I turned to leave, a very tall and imposing middle-aged matron walked up to me, handed me a business card and said, "She's going to be a big star, you know."

I was taken aback a bit, but smiled, thanked her and dropped the business card in the bag with the make-up and left. I made a mental note that I had just met a serious stage mother.

Next day, I gave my son his toy and handed my daughter the bag with the make-up. I told her that there also was a business card in the bag from the young lady that had picked out the item for me.

My daughter looked at and then shrieked, "Dad!!! You met Taylor Swift??!!???"

Apparently, I had. Note that this was a bit before she made it really big. When I unknowingly met her, she was still transitioning from Country Western to Pop music but was well-known enough that my daughter was impressed.

It is a cool story because of how big of a star she is now. However, my actual interaction with her probably lasted less than two minutes and neither of us introduced ourselves or knew who the other was. So, "meeting" might be a bit of an overstatement. Right then and there, she was just a young lady helping a Dad pick out a gift in an airport in between flights.

Philadelphia, especially their defense, was absolutely dominant throughout the game. And they never blitzed once, as far as I am aware! Amazing performance. KC defense stopped the running game, except for Hurts, and he made the most of it. Mahones had a really bad night, probably because of a lack of protection. Threepeats are hard to do.
