Background: I recently purchased a the website from another DP member. I was not aware that the website was running illegal (not licensed) software and will hopefully get my refund tomorrow. Anyways, within a few hours of my purchase, I received an aggressive PM from one of phpArcadeScript's staff members (I will leave him unnamed as he is a member of this community) threatening me to take the website down or he was going to contact my hosting company. Now today (after the website has been removed for 12 hours), I got a nice little email from the owner of phpArcadeScript. I mean, I understand that he does not like people stealing his work, but come on dude. Do you really think Bill McCullum (Florida Attorney General) has nothing better to do than hear you wine? (I think it is an automated message anyways.) The sad thing is that I actually was going to buy the script for my next website. My response: What do you guys think of this situation and their sales efforts? I completely understand that you do not want someone using illegal software (I am all against that and even buy (mostly) my own music.), but this is way too much. Anyone else have any experience with these types of people. Your thoughts?
