    Hey,

Well DP went down the other day and i got bored so decided to relax in the sun and i got burnt but not just any old burn i swear it feels like a 2nd degree burn.

So out comes the aloe vera gel (well i say out comes the gel - i had to go get some) lots and lots and lots of after sun oh and a spray bottle of water.

So what do you lot think is the best cure for sunburn (and dont say sun creme arghhh)

Have a cold shower, it may hurt but it works better than just spraying on water. :)

Ain't no cure. There is the aloe vera that is good. The actual plant is the best. Then you peel and that is all you can do. There is an ointment called Foile that works good. I got some green gloop they call gel in a bottle called Solarcaine and according to the wife it works pretty good. I was never sunburned enough to have to use it.

They say the enzymes in milk really help soothe the burn. Also just wear a cotton t-shirt and keep applying aloe vera and also moisturizer. Ouch! I remember last summer my friend and I roasted ourselves silly, even my shins peeled.

apple cider vinegar, cold showers, aloe vera and a fan that blows on you while you sleep.

cured my sunburn in under 24 hours.
