I subscribe to most security related lists and forums, and compiled an early list of the various flaws that got found so far: http://www.searchsiren.com/?p=41 Basically the take away is to be cautious with early beta software.
Thanks for sharing the post. Interested. Always be aware when using beta software. Although I am quite positive until now. Still testing it out and comparing on other laptops with different setups. Chrome beta version is safe enough for me
You have all been PunKed by Google. Are any of you aware that the actual Open Source version of the browser is Chromium and not Chrono? The branded google version binds you to a seriously compromising term of use. I recommend you all forget Chromo and Use Chromium if you are going to use either. Of course that version you will have compile yourself. Seriously guys.. Google is attempting a big Big Brother step forward with this. Those paying attention are seeing it. I checked this out myself... I didn't like how Chromo also hooked into my Firefox config... it has no business there.
I guess there will be so many bugs in Chrome at the moment. This is the first beta version, we have to wait for some time before we will actually see a stable, bugs free Chrome version.
Well everything Google releases is called a beta forever anyway, but this is an untested browser that is just hitting the public.
