I was wondering that if digg post URL submission will increase my Backlinks or not. Is Commenting on Digg URL also create backlinks for a site? Sorry if this is a really funny and easy question
I checked the inbound link from Digg to my site using HubSpot and it shows that the new Digg relationship dc:source (unlike the old rel="nofollow") does get SEO credit. More info on rel=dc:source at: http://www.w3.org/2008/WebVideo/Annotation/wiki/MultilevelDescriptionReview dc:source, "A related resource from which the described resource is derived." Dublin Core Metadata Initiative lives at http://dublincore.org/ (The "Dublin" part refers to the location of the group first meeting in Dublin, Ohio in 1995)
Yeah you will get a backlink, however Digg has recently changed to nofollow, so you wont get any PR juice, however Digg is a good backlink to have. Like my reply? Feel free to leave me positive reputation at the top right of this post. Click on the scale and leave positive feedback
its sad to see digg has made its links nofollow or else it was quite useful to get a decent pagerank!!!
