I was wondering that if digg post URL submission will increase my Backlinks or not.

Is Commenting on Digg URL also create backlinks for a site?

Sorry if this is a really funny and easy question

I checked the inbound link from Digg to my site using HubSpot and it shows that the new Digg relationship dc:source (unlike the old rel="nofollow") does get SEO credit.

    More info on rel=dc:source at:

dc:source, "A related resource from which the described resource is derived."

(The "Dublin" part refers to the location of the group first meeting in Dublin, Ohio in 1995)

Yeah you will get a backlink, however Digg has recently changed to nofollow, so you wont get any PR juice, however Digg is a good backlink to have.
