    yes it was started as blogs only.
    but, as i mentioned in a prvious post, it was very hard to follow each link to verify its blog status. i got more than a 1000 links in about 24-48 hours. it will take forever to visit that many links to verify if the site is blog. so while focus is on blogs, other sites are also approved , because the submitters have made the effort and taken the time to submit their links
