Suitable server for a php fox social community

    Plz give me your lights.. I have started a social community, using phpfox! It already has 3,5 k members. But the situation is not good due to lag. The members are not pleased with this.

    Can you suggest a server which can be enough for this kind of site???

    As its a Social Community, thats why i think you should go with a giant server so that you dont need to change the server again in near future. You just can upgrade the server configuration and get everything fixed. I personally would suggest the following server:

    Intel Xeon (Quad or Dual core but single processor)
    2 GB + RAM
    6 GB + Swap

    Make sure the bandwidth network is good for you. Level 3 or Saviss or Databank would be the best choice i hope :)
