It would be good if you could modify (without needing to be approved??) the Anchor Text and Description of existing ads, without having to delete, and add a new add to be approved. Also it would be good if the ads could be sorted in "Status" order, so if you have 20 ads the first 10 enabled ones appear at the top no matter which order the ads were created. At the moment it seems to order them on creation date. Just some ideas anyway.
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having ads approved? If people can change them after being approved?
The approval is a basic check of the network to make sure the network doesn't have inappropriate ads running on it. Say you make a simple ad about widgets, then after approval change it to some adult link. Don't you think this would be fairly unfair to other members of the network who may have no idea that they are promoting an adult website?
Guys, I am only talking about changing the anchor TEXT and description without approval. If you want to change the actual link you need to delete, and add a new ad to be approved.
Fair enough. Then anyhow it would still be good to have an edit option, that then goes through the approval process. I know you can delete, and re-add and ad. But if you only want to modify the Anchor text from saying "Widgets" to "Widgets!!" an edit option would save time. I know I am being fussy, but it is only a suggestion to improve what is already a great free tool, to be slightly more user-friendly!
I can see where edits can come in handy, but in all honesty, it'll take some time for the ad to be approved. So if you can make the change real quick, you'll still be waiting at some point in time. Good suggestion, but a little nit-picky IMO.
I like the fact that the ads have to be approved. There is too much bad advertising out there because everyone is understandably trying to get ahead. The human touch is a good thing in my opinion.
