I am planning to buy some signature spaces from fellow active members and I need pricing suggestions guys.

Please tell me how much do you think will I need to pay for a signature link that has 10 new posts per day in one month?

Please do not send me any PM for offer.. I am just soliciting opinions!

Based on my experience, forums like SP, DP, and WP can send around 100 visitors for 10 posts per day in popular threads.

    Please vote...

Usually the going rate is around $1 per 100 words for a monthly spot. So if, for instance, someone has 200 posts, they should charge $2 per month :)

I'd say $20, but it really depends on the specific person's account. Getting a sig link from a newbie has different implications compared to somebody like me or kiteguy above, and it's even more different when you've got somebody with thousands of posts. It's not just the monthly posts you are buying links for, it's all their past posts as well.

That's too cheap... whether I am the signature owner or the advertiser... that rate is not fair to publisher..

I agree with Christian... it depends on account and the forum activity as well.

You don't really buy past posts because as posts get older, they get buried in the forum and the links lose all the (little) weight they carry. Try to google a post on page 5 and a post on page 50 for example.... you'll see.

Sig link are "good" if you have a new site and you want to get it noticed. Otherwise, they are pretty much useless. well, maybe not useless but not worth paying for anyway.

Those old posts will be digged only if you answer the thread...

I think $20 should be a fair deal. 10 posts of posting rate per day should total to about 300 per month. Imagine it's the same like what you would get with the offer rate for forum posting of about 0.10 per post and that should be $30.

And 10 osts daily in a busy forum like DP would result to around 90 unique visitors per day based on my computation of current stat.
