Suggestions on getting traffic

I am getting 1000-1500 visitors a day, but getting very low revenue out of it. Just wanted to ask how do u guys increase your traffic ? does getting page rank increase traffic ?

btw , I got my First pay check for $174 . It took me three months to get this far. Useful tips are appreciated

 

Could I get a link to your site? I would like to see the ad placement.

It seems from the stats, you are getting enough visitors (if not low) but it does not translate into clicks. What to do? Placing the ads in perfect spots, making the ads look like contents etc. Just sign in to your google adsense account and go to the ad placement section. There everything is discussed in detail.

First of all i think you require a good congratulation. That is for the fact that you could generate 1000 - 1500 visitors a day. Most people can only dream of it. But i am sorry for the real poor average of your click throughs and Your Revenue. Considering the fact that you have not put in your URL anywhere, i would have to assume every possible reason of why your revenue and CTR is low. Reasons could be any of the below or all.

1. Poor Placement
2. Your Page is not optimized for Google Adsense
3. Poor Formatting of Ads

1500 traffic is good

Buddy never be under impression that more traffic = more revenue.

Most important thing is your website Niche, which actually determines revenue

if it's low paying niche then you cant do anything even 5000 visitors per day come on your website.

If possible try to make your website content rich.

 

1000 ~ 1500 visitors per day is ok, but nothing spectacular if you ask me. With that amount of traffic you should at least earn around $80 month, it all depends on the content and click value. I would rather concentrate on getting more traffic and leave the rest.

If you don't have a link unit on your site, I strongly advise you add one. They can improve earnings considerably, trust me on this.

 

What is 'a link unit'?

 

It depend on your niche
if it's arcade, it's normal.
if it's loan, it's pretty good.
