I have a small brick and mortar business which generates most of its activity off the web. Most of the business operations are monitored off an access database that tracks customer progress through our service. To date we have been using access for sales tracking. Its not sufficient. I'm looking into a contact management system. It must interface easily with access. We need to generate emails and news letters from the contact system. We operate with about 4-6,000 new contacts per year with new contacts/potential sales calling fairly regularly through the year with it tailing off during the last 3 months. Number 1 need is that it easily interfaces with access to move lead information into the customer data base. Any help appreciated. Dave
from the description you have given, to me it sounds like you need more of customer managment solution than content management. Content Management software is suitable for sites/enterprises who publish content (news, periodicals, memos) to their internet/intranet site. I personally use few of top CMS (content management software) and I haven't seen any integrating with customers, sales function etc.
You are correct. I meant contact management system. Really looking for one that easily interfaces with access. Sorry and thanks for catching that.
