Hi All, I have a pretty nice tech related domain name(two words) lying idle for a while. I would like to seek your suggestions regarding ways to monetize it. [There is no traffic to this domain so parking it would not yield any results] I was thinking on the lines of creating a directory out of it. Can some point to good resources on DP/or web where I can get to know about creation of directories from scratch? Or if you think it can be used in some better way... please let me know
You can use one to make it an 'ebay' store. There's a script available. You can also use one to make it an Amazon store. Plenty of scripts available. I use my dummy domains for the same and it yields results. Better still, make them into sites and implement adsense or YPN.
Thanks phinelinda for your suggestions. If possible, can you tell me some dynamics behind how ebay/amazon store works and how can we monetize our site with it. As for Adsense, YPN I dont want to go into it as I already have a couple of blogs and forum and now I wish to try something completely different. GameOver: I have PM'ed you the domain name.
