Suggestions Needed On Marketing

    Hello

I recently launched ConsumerTreehouse.com, which is a consumer review website that provides the public with 100% unbiased and unsolicited product reviews. What makes my site different from the othe review sites is that all reviews on my site are user-created and published, they come from the consumer in hopes of helping out other consumers.

I am in the process of reworking the main page, making it more interactive, user-friendly, and adding affiliate programs. I have thought about free giveaways (Ipod, etc..), etc...but not really sure if that will work. I am afraid that people will make spam postings on the site in order to win the free prize.

Let me know what you would do if you were in my shoes.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Try to post comments on related blogs. Also post on classified ads sites like webcosmo.com community.

Generate a rss feed from your site and submit to rss directories to get the word out. i.e. www.pingoat.com

I will be launching a site soon that needs user reviews. I've been wondering the same thing:

Will offering reviewers the chance to win a prize decrease the quality of the reviews?
Will it decrease the reputation of the site?

Anyone out there with insight on this issue?
