Hi guys, A buddy on my MSN needs some help. Since I am still a student I can not offer him much help. The guy has just passed high school in India and has two options. The first is a 4 year engineering degree in IT and the second is a 3 year BBA (IT) degree. He wants to keep both his options open, i.e. working as a webmaster like us independently (I mean his own company/startup or freelancing) or as a web guy in a tech company, but its web-dev only for him What do you say would be better ?
I will say first one is best! BBA is useless without MBA specially in India and still won't land you in IT job!
I would rather suggest to pursue his engineering degree in IT and alongside, give some time to his passion i.e being a webmaster. This way he could have both the options open for him. As gsv13 said, BBa without an MBA is mere useless in India..... Regards
by pursing IT he can also work in a job and be a webmaster.So in my opinion IT will be the best for him.I am myself into a branch of IT.So I can say this from experience.
