    Hi there

    I'm looking forward to setting up a contest among the romantic visitors of my romance website (4000 daily visitors, poetry, love stories, articles on love, spirituality, sexuality, fun stuff, pictures, videos, it's in Romanian language, www.dindragoste.ro).

    I would welcome any suggestions for this contest! what should I ask visitors to do, to compete on?

    I can suggest a love letter writing contest. Get a small panel of judges and ask people to submit a love letter. Let the panel chose the best one, and Offer some good prize.

    How about something along the lines of most romantic date you can plan for someone on a limited budget. Give them a theoretical budget of say $25 and the most romantic plans that stay within budget wins.

    I've decided on a contest but not of love letters (which may be copy-pasted from anywhere else) but of short videos with romantic content: love declarations, poem recitations, anything romantic.

    Do you think it would work? people would send anything?

    Not much, unfortunately, some T shirts with a heart, site's logo and a line "Love Happens", some heart shaped silver pendant. Given that the website is targeted to a Romanian audience, they may be less picky. I wish I could offer them more.
