I need some suggestions to make a business-oriented static website for online business.

Can any expert web designer give me some ideas and suggestions?

I normally grab a template from themeforest.com and use it for my sites and modify them. its a good starting point and the prices are ridiculously low....BTW, I am not related to that site in anyway so dont take this as an advertisement. Just a tip from a web developer

It all depends what you wish to achieve with your website. There are two kinds of people. The kind that want a website just so they don't have anything less than their competition and the Kind that make their competitors sweat to catch up.

If you're the first one, follow gcameo's example. It's simple, fast and very very cheap. However be advised that you're most likely gonna find a heap of other websites looking like yours (They mass sell the templates, that's why they're so cheap).

If on the other hand you're serious about having a professional website to promote your business and services, I'd suggest you go to a professional web designer and let him guide you through the whole process. It's a long and tedious process, costs much more than the template but if you find the right guy, the end result will be much better.

    Id agree with necro.

Going to a professional website designer would cost more, but you get the full service.

Personally, I don't like using templates but that's just me!
