Suggestions for Online Betting

Can anyone suggest a reputable online betting site?

Here is what I am looking to do (I don't know terminology)

I want to be able to choose the number of Footbal games I can bet on on Sunday. So if I choose 4, if I win all those games (spread betting) I get odds of 5:1 -- If I choose 8, if I win all those games I get odds of 30:1

There is usually a deal for 12 where if you win 10 of the games you get something, 11 you get something, etc

I also think if you lose every single bet on the card you get a few bucks although thats not neccesary.

I am trying to bet like the way I did in the US (seems like every office has someone with these cards)

I am only looking to bet a small amount (<$10 a week) just for old times sake.

If someone knows what I am talking about and knows a good site for it, let me know.

Please Note - If you provide an affiliate link I won't follow it as I have no idea if you use the site or are just trying to make a quick buck.

Gambling is legal here but you can't bet this way on Football (not Soccer) as it not that popular

Do you know what the kind of betting I am reffering to is called?

I definately know Ladbrokes (There is one on every block) but they look at me like I'm mental when I go in there because I can;t explain what I want to do.

I used to just fill out a xeroxed card someone handed me so I am trying to figure out how to do it in a professional shop (or online)

    You're referring to football "pools"?

I'm in a few but they're all through people I know. cbssportsline runs ours, maybe they have open registration. ???

If you'd like, I can see if you could join the one we have going here at my office.

As long as its not one where whoever picks the most games correctly wins the pot.

Im not a big fan of those (I want to know where I stand as the games are being played)

It's a confidence pool. You pick a winner of each game and assign a value (usually 1-15). Whoever gets the most points wins the pot for the week (45$) and 2nd place gets $15.

It's $5.00 per week or $80 for the whole season. The winner at the end of the season gets like $350. Second place gets $160.

Thanks for the offer but I'm not a big fan of those type of bets. As they say, I like to control my own destiny. ;)

I'm not looking for a "cheat the system" program...By my own destiny, I meant I either win or I don't based on the game..Not how others do

Thats it!!!!! That may get me started.

I may have to stop in at Ladbrokes later and see if they will accept parlay betting on the NFL

Make sure you tell them NFL and not just football. For some reason the rest of the world gets soccer and football confused.

Man I just realized I haven't bet on anything in a long time. New DP pool anyone?

After many years here, I am well aware of that. You can only get so many black eyes before you learn to start making the distinction ;)

I use playersonly.com - not sure how I first heard of it, but I've used them for a few years now. I do an 8 game NFL parlay every week during the season.

They have "progressive" parlays, but I forget how they work exactly.

Yes, they are called parlay bets. They are known as the biggest sucker bets in the gambling world. Sounds like you just want to put a few bucks down on some games each week to keep things interesting so I am sure you are not going to have much exposure.

Yeah, its more for fun...They are similar to Lottery tickets but its just to make things interesting.

Thats why I keep it under $10

I'm that guy that goes to the track and bets on horses that drop a brick before the race....I know you have a better chance betting other ways

There is a sportsbook in Mexico called Caliente. When I lived in San Diego we would hit the one up in TJ every so often. I searched for it and this guys site came up. Looks like he has a bunch of sports books listed on the left side.
