http://www.healthyhumanbeing.ca is my new site, looking for suggestions on ad placement.

Also, I'd like to put an affiliate banner on the main page, suggestions to size and location would also be appreciated, thanks...

Nice site. Ads are placed OK too. I wouldn't change anything for now, maybe after some time when you see how your ads perform you can make some changes if you need.

Perhaps you could make the adsense links the same color as the wordpress hyperlinks, but apart from that, it all looks good to me.

would putting an ad block at the top of each post like actually inside the post be too much?

For a new blog that would be overkill in my honest opinion.

    Got ya...

I would really like to put an affiliate banner on the home page. To do this but not to overkill it, should I replace one of the google blocks with my affiliate one?

Perhaps up in the right hand corner of the header? Like a 468x60 banner...

The affiliate banner looks good up the top right hand corner. I would also go about hiding the affiliate URL when hovering over the link with your mouse so it shows the merchant URL. Visitors tend to have more trust dealing with non affiliate sites?? ...

Hey, superpump, you should add horizontal and vertical spaces to your image to separate it from the text. In Firefox the text pushes up against the images. Looks better with spaces.

In WP add hspace="5" vspace="5" to your image or how ever many space you want. I find that 5 works well enough.
