    Hi,

Total newb at internet marketing but I have a local mobile website that I'm going to start engaging with local vendors to advertise on. Given the niche of "local users on mobile devices" I already have an idea of who those vendors are but when I pitch to them I want to be able to provide options for 3rd party marketing brokers (middle men?) to handle the stats. This way, whether I do CPC or CPM, everything is on the level rather than them taking my word for it. It's likely these vendors don't have advertiser accounts with anyone yet so this would be there first time.

Can someone direct me to good company to accomplish this with? Preferably someone who doesn't take too much of a percentage. I've checked out a few of the popular companies but most will only provide rates if you contact them except BuySellAds which appears to take %25?!

Also, in the internet marketing industry, when we talk about CPM is it normally based on unique pageviews or simply pageviews? I would think unique since then the refresh and backbutton views are not counted but I've heard conflicting opinions.

While I'm at it, any other advice you can throw my way would be great too! Seems to me that if you're not trying to monitize a blog or similar site it's a little difficult to wade through the information.

    Thanks!

    Thom
