Suggestions For Free Internet Marketing Site

Discussion in 'Websites' started by ebno, May 24, 2006.

I recently started a free advertising site for internet marketers (URL in signature). It is basically a free classifieds site where webmasters, affiliates and internet marketers can post ads promoting their products or services, and share resources (link exchanges, etc.)

I would appreciate any suggestions, especially category suggestions.

If you have any ideas or critiques, please post them.

    Thanks

Nice clean design! Looks pretty simple to use. Though market your in, but give some good old viral marketing effort to it.

    Cheers

Placing ads is free so it will be funded by adsense. Each time an ad is posted it becomes its own optimized page. some of the free advertising forums I see have over 100,000 ads posted and indexed in the engines. But if their pages have adsense, they usually put them in the wrong place and I assume they have a low click-through rate because of this.
Thank you. I had to look up viral marketing in wikipedia- sounds very interesting.

Ok, I have only one comment.... You need to save the users info... I just spent 10 to 15 minutes trying to submit an ad. Writing the ad took some time... Then when I clicked submit I got an error that I did not enter a valid URL... I did not put the http:// - You should not make this required, So, then I figure ok, i'll click on the go back button you have there on the page... Back I went and everything was blank... I just closed my browser, not spending the time to write it again because I forgot the http://

Other than that.. Good Site, Good Job.... ;)
