    42. For the Adsense Search, I would love to see what people were searching for from my sites.

    43. Regarding channels, I would like to see the capability of grouping custom channels together on a site by site basis (or however a user would want to). I have a loooong list of custom channels and it gets slow scrolling down that small box to check or uncheck channels.

I may think of some more later...:)

That was taken care of the other week :)

Not sure if someone mentioned this, but if they did, I second it.

    44. Being able to select all custom channels or all url channels. Right now I have to select all then de-select url channels manually, due to over-lap.

I thought of another one as I looked at my Beta Account on YPN...

    45. I would like to be able to copy certain parts of the adsense code, rather than only being able to copy the entire code. :)

he asked for a SIMPLE desktop plug-in not one bundled with a ton of other spyware.

46 maybe the brains at google could brainstorm the search tool as many publishers are dumping it due to lack of revenue.

    47. Google could provide free counselling for those suffering emotional trauma after a sudden drop in earnings... :p
    48. Google could buy all the e-books available on adsense and make a nice summary for us :)
    49. Google could offer full time employment to all adsense users who have been in the program for more than a year. :) That would be sweet! (and move the head office to melbourne please)

    50. Get a report of URLs generating impressions that are not assigned to a channel (don't need the specific stats for them, as I wouldn't want to replace the channel system altogether), but it would be nice to just get a list of URLs in case you have something out there that slipped through the cracks and you need to assign a channel to.

    Hi all -

Nintendo, thanks so much for setting up this thread. I read through all of your ideas and am going to send a summary to the product team. They'll love to hear your feedback.

In the meantime, I'd like to address a few of the ideas listed that have already been implemented.

First, someone mentioned that publishers should be able to see what users are searching for from their sites. I'm happy to report that this feature was just added in our last update. Under the 'Advanced Reports - Search Performance' tab of your account, you'll notice the 'Top Queries' section which displays the top 25 searches generated from your site.

Second, Nintendo mentioned that when a disaster strikes, PSAs should be redirected to the specific event. We agree that this is a great idea, and last Friday we actually just switched all of our PSAs to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort ;) . You can read more on the Inside AdSense blog - http://adsense.blogspot.com/ .

Another member requested the ability to see the ads users from other countries see. As you may know, you can use the preview tool to see the ad inventory from several countries. More information can be found at http://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=10007&topic=160

With regard to the request to see which ads users are clicking on, while we don't currently list the specific ads users are clicking on, you can track which ad units have the highest CTR using custom channels. You can read more about custom channels at https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9868

Thanks again and keep sending us your feedback about both existing and most-wanted features.

    51. On the AdSense page, add a link to the AdSense blog. Something like...

    © 2005 Google - AdSense Home - Contact Us - Privacy Policy - Blog

would work great. Most people probably don't even know it exists since you don't link to it, unless some of us just can't find it!

    52. When AdSense will be down, add a big message on the reports page with the announcement. Then take it down when it's over. Odds are at least 95% of affiliates don't even see your announcements on message boards.

    53. Get GoogleGuy over here. :D

    54. URL channels for Adsense for search. I can only figure out how to set custom channels and I've asked about it on 2 forums with no responses, so I'm guessing that Adsense for search doesn't allow URL channels. If it does, can someone please tell me how to create them? :)

    55. This one is VERY IMPORTANT

The Adsense Control Panel should remember the various URL's we might have previously used in the "Alternate URLs" section when creating the ad code.

I always forget what I named my collapsing html page (e.g. noads.htm, collapse.html etc)....and then have to FTP to double check which is a pain! :)
