Suggestions for Affiliate networks.

I'm running a flash gaming site as well as a blog related to the flash game industry and game development. I'm looking pretty deeply into affiliate ads now because they seem to be far more successful with enough research and effort. I'm currently a member of commission junction and like the layout a lot. Do you guys have any suggestions for what affiliate ads I should be showing and what networks I shoul dbe going through? I see that clickbank has the most viewers at a time here in the forums, is clickbank preferred? Any information on the different networks and ads suitable for an arcade site (I'll be adding my own to the list from my own research since I know my demographic) would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of them, but it sounds adult themed. Flash arcade game sites should be family friendly, school friendly, no porn, nothing offensive.

Clickbank and CJ are mostly per-sale networks (CPS). I would recommending trying some CPL offers, which pay out on a simple form, sometimes just on an email address. Or try offers that pay out on a free trial (CPA).

Find something that fits your site. Maybe put up ads for RealArcade Game Pass (an offer we have). Or try something like Netflix. Gamefly. Anything entertainment related.

Or, you might even consider putting up a content gateway.

I've actually signed up for Gamefly, Netflix and the Realarcade "Gamerhouse", all are very relevant and are a nice change on the eyes instead of the acne and Evony ads Adsense has been showing on every other arcade site.

According to the flash gaming demographics, many of the players are women believe it or not. Seeing as kids in school aren't about to buy any affiliate products, I should probably target women between the age of 18-40, this seems to be who plays the most flash games these days. I really wanted to get into cheap caribbean, but they decline me and don't tell me why. I also tried getting into an affiliate that sells awnings, it's currently pending. I was also rejected by a company selling printers, figured I'd hit that up while the back to school sales were going. I actually haven't been approved for Netflix yet, I signed up for them through linkshare, they're pending as well.

Can you think of any other ads that may fit in, and do you have any idea why I'm getting rejected here and there?

You have 10 posts, all about AdsVanced. If you're marketing your own network just say so...

    But back on topic...
Hmm, women 18-40. Maybe try a free credit report offer? With the economy the way it is people are more interested in their credit score right now.
Oh also, here's a good idea -- an IQ test offer, or other similar cellphone pin-submit offers.
Or maybe someone sits at home playing games because they're out of work. Try a bizopp.
    Or try a dating offer.
We have a variety of CPA and CPL offers on our network if you want to sign up and look. PM me for faster approval.

    ^^^^^^
Hm for someone criticing an affilaite for promoting the network they run ads for you sure are hypocritical.

Anyways, no i dont own/operate/have any ownership in that network. Hate to break it to you man but after searching through top affiliate networks and finally finding one that treats there affiliates better then some of the top guys out there,WE APPRECIATE IT. If thats such a problem for you, you might focus on promoting your own network instead of flaming on digital point. Probably some 13 year old kid with mom and dads bank account getting a wanna-be network approved. And as far as the ownership you'd have to hit up Chase.

I think his digital point s/n is adsvchase...

Oh and pm you for faster approval right? Will you be sure to setup those no minimum Net 7 weekly wires for me too? Oh wait...that's right. Nevermind.

Any network that "accepts everyone" and uses HasOffers (which is free) is a joke.
    Enough said.
