    Hi admin of DP,

It is to my attention that certain forums has gained a significant increase in postings recently especially the marketplace, selling domains, sites and links.

A new thread posted is being pushed to the following pages within 12 to 24hrs.. which I believe this will get worsen if we have more members in future. Therefore, to better control the quality of these forums I would suggest DP to implement one of the following suggestion:

    1. Limit a member to only one new post in each sub-forum (selling sites, domains and links) every 1, 3 or 7 days. Depending on the intensity, we can try out 1 per day first.

    2. Disable the sorting of threads in these forums by latest posting dates. This can also solve the bumping of threads and can save some work for the admins. The threads will be sorted according to the creation date only and this can make sure that all new posting will get enough attention.

I am glad to see that there are over 100+ members viewing at the marketplace every time I log in and this is a very good news for the traders. Therefore, I really hope that DP can implement my proposal to benefit everyone.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    1. Not going to happen, sorry.

    2. You can set how you want it to sort on a per user basis (under UserCP).

I think 1 won't be implemented because mods can easily merge two or more threads if needed.

    2 is already explained. ;)
