hi, i need some suggestion on the most profitable way of doing business with the traffic i may be able to provide -- i may be able to ask around 2000-3000 real ppl to: -- sign up on your website -- browse through your website daily -- post threads in forums on your site -- and other things you can think of... it seemed i was not able to find similar service on ebay -- all the traffic selling on ebay is from popup what's the best way to make the most out of it? any idea about how much $$$ i can make by providing such traffic? any input is greatly apreciated!
I have never heard of such a service, all the traffic I have seen for sale is popup. So I guess the question is how much does it cost to generate? If you could price it to be similar to popup traffic prices, maybe a smidgen more expensive I think you would be on to a winner becuase then you could gaurantee higher quality traffic for a similar price. I think you'd get truck loads of business.
the problem is that popup traffic is too cheap -- you can buy 1000 visits for $1 ebay... what's unique here is i can make sure each visitor will stay at the site for a certain period -- either log into their account, or click several additional links (not ads. ) before they leave... no one is interested in having thousands of ppl sign up and just stay around with a cost?
By definitiion I don't think what you are offering is "traffic"...to me traffic is people who click a related link [therefore show an interest in the topic of my site]. By incentivizing visitors to a site [which I'm sure violates adsense terms if the site is running it] you really are not offering much to me as a webmaster...the only exception would be forums to create the illusion that the forum is 'happening'. I remember there was an off line business that was something to the effect of "rent a crowd" to make stores look busy and create buzz. So market your service as "rent a virtual crowd" there must be someone who would take it up...it's all in the marketing.
Don't pay for 100's of visitors type services. Those services are all scams. You won't get ay money at all from the traffic.
very good point! now i just wish this 'virtual crowd' could speak english -- apparently a lot ppl hire ppl to post... if the site asks/requires the 'virtual crowd' not to click ads, this still violates adsense terms? another campaign i can think of is to ask the crowd to vote/digg/tag for certain site/news...
