    Hey,
Social Media Optimization stand for SMO.
This is "some say" a new generation for the SEO.
Please read about it here: Wiki

From my experience SMO is an essential element to build link, it will never be SEO replacement - it will be only a complementary.

I would like to suggest SMO forum spite the fact that it's still a new term.

This sounds like a good idea/suggestion for a new forum, but implementation will be very difficult - we'd have to move so many threads in the new forum, I don't know if we have enough moderators and time to do it at the present moment.

However, I am sure one of the moderators here has taken note of your suggestion. :)

I dont think there is sufficient demand. The marketing forum seems good enough for now.

I hadnt seen this thread when I started my one about a more general forum for all social networking application discussion, but I feel that this proposed forum area would be a great addition to the proposed area from my thread on the same topic,

and re. Mikeys post immediately above, sorry mate but I have to disagree with you again, there is enough traffic to warrant this, I absolutely guarantee it would get more use than MANY of the existing forum areas.
