Suggestion for coding forum.

    Hi,
I was thinking that if it would be possible to "mark thread resolved" in the coding section, it will be easier to quick scan them later for someone who's looking for a code solution.
    Example...
    I start a thread titled:
    "Contact form code"
    in php section.
Someone posts a working code. Problem solved.

From "tools" menu, I can click a link "mark thread resolved" which updates the title to:
    "Resolved - Contact form code"

Only the person who started the thread can mark thread resolved.

Same can be applied to auction threads in buy/sell forum as well...

Not sure how long it will take to code this, but looks useful to me.
    Your thoughts please :)
    Thanks :)

Can only be possible if a plugin/hack is available for it ?
Nice suggestion, but not needed i suppose due to lot of posting.
It would be difficult to find a resolved thread.

just report the thread and request that it be closed. that's what i do all the time.

I didn't mean to close the thread. :) The thread will still be open, but with the "title" updated.
Also in search box one can search for "resolved (search term)" or similar to list all threads with "working code" examples...
Mods need not do extra work as well.

It was just a thought. :)
    Bye :)
