Suggestion: Disable thread ratings?

I don't know. I just think there's no real use for it - it just gets abused.

I believe there's an option to disable it in VB admin CP.

Benefits of removal:
- All threads get equal attention, as no stars will be shown to right of a thread title
- Less stress on DP's database, I guess?
- Noone will be heartbroken over 1 star ratings anymore.

I mean, really, think about it, what is the point of that thing??

This is just a suggestion.

 

Anyone who's really "heartbroken" about 1-star ratings probably shouldn't be hanging out in a forum like this to begin with.

But as we've said numerous times before, we can make no changes to the forum's setup. Only Shawn can, and he's not around.
