Suggested Bids on Facebook vary widely - despite same targeting?

I've got a campaign running on Facebook with 5 ads. Each has a different image and copy, but all have around the same CTR. All have exactly the same targeting (age, location, etc). So, why does Facebook recommend very different bids for the ads? The range is from $0.26-0.36 on the low end to $0.40-0.53 on the high end - that is a 2x difference between the lowest low recommendation and the highest high recommendation.

I would have though that if the CTRs are similar, and the targeting is identical, then the recommended bids should be very similar too (+- a few cents maybe). Any ideas what is doing on?

    Facebook Advertising IS useless
Invest on Making a FanPage on Google instead of advertising

You're competing with each other, see this article: http://redembermarketing.com/marketingbbq/category/social-media/ Unfortunately, I'm experiencing very similar issue:(
