Blogger has mutiple places to add ads. They have setup that will add them for you or you can change code to add them any place you like. I would have one ad above the first post and maybe one on side of page.
one link unit directly under the articles section, another horizontal one under the blue bar. rcj was right, put one 336*280 immediate before your first post and maybe a second one immediate after the 1st post. hope this helps.
