Suggest the importance of Keyword density????

    I know Keyword density is a combination of the number of times a keyword or a keyword phrase,in proportion with other number of words,appears on a web page but what is its importance, please anybody can help me about this...............

    If you are using same keywords over the keyword density then it is consider as a keyword stuffing...& keyword stuffing is not good for a website

    Today is 2011, not 2003 - it would't give you any benefits, but can harm you. So, I'd suggest to stop thinking about keyword desteny and start thinking about users.

    Keyword is a very important part of website. So, we can't ignore its importance. There should be keyword density from 2-3%. Otherwise, SE consider your website as spam. So, avoid keyword stuffing.
