Give your valuable suggetions Thanks
These are 2 years old price. I compared price than other directories which are really poor in search engine ranking. So i decide i should ask suggestion regarding price..
websguy, I would link audit yourself (go through and adjust your actual listings, removing anything out of date or even slightly spammy) before increasing prices. I had a quick look and there's some titles you could adjust (things like just "Astrologer" which is too generic and where you could easily add the person's name, especially since it is in the URL). There are also some sites you could totally remove (gifts in India = spam) or at the very least adjust very heavily. The directory is looking quite good, but if you are going to increase prices, then you also need to increase the quality a notch.
I would not increase just yet. Even though your site has a lot of potential I would agree, as stated, that after you add and nurture your site a bit more, then maybe then you can revisit the increase in price idea. Good site though, good luck!
If you can increase the prices will not fair with their users. These are the common prices and i don't think it should need to change.
Your rankings are more important to you than the submitter. Unless you have a good reason for your customer to think an increase will benefit them don't risk alienating your existing customer base by increasing your review fee. Look at it from the submitters view and consider the value for money you're offering them. I found lowering my review fee was more profitable.
I think it's a bit pricey for my liking. Regular listing should be above half of that. After all directory listing is becoming so cheap.
You are thinking about increasing the price because you think your directory is valuable (as you shown the ranks). A question: For what you take money...for listing websites in your directory OR to review submitted websites (editorial cost)? In my opinion you should reduce the price by $15 for featured as well as regular because your directory don't get much submissions (as the links in each category are NIL to very less). Increasing price will further stop submissions, and decreasing price will encourage the submissions and hence give you some earning. I think you earning should be better if you reduce the price. what do you think?
