Suggest please

    Hi,
    Is there a free software to reduce the disk partition size of primary disk C: This is where windows is also installed.
    I got about 30GB here, and need only 15GB max. I don't want to format the pc and do the partition again, just remove 15GB from here and add it to some other partition.

    Not quite sure if Partition Magic will do the job since you have already installed Windows on the main drive. Otherwise, you will have to reformat and partition the drive manually.

    Partition magic trial or Acronis Partition expert trial.

    Note : Make sure you back up important files

    Windows has a built in partition manager
    Click Start>Run>CMD
    I dont know the command, but im sure someone here will know

    Though u did it now. but in Windows XP u can do it using Disk manager in windows Administrator tools :)

    partition magic will help you, but do make backup's, just in case you may need it (in case of any error).

    Gparted is a nice utility, only downside is that you need to burn it onto a CD and make it bootable.
