Search keywords related with your theme and analysis their competition........
I don't believe about the word limit title should be looking good don't use much keywords in title and description, and tell about your services and product in your description, site should be look user friendly not make search engine friendly..

    Hello Freinds,

I want to tell you that first select keywords then make a title to add keywords and then you can make a good description and your keywords density will increase through this way.

It depends on your targeted keywords. When creating title and description you should consider the keywords and try to insert it on your title and description.

Try using Google Adwords Tool and search for some keywords related to your site and heres the catch. Put the keywords that ISN'T HIGH saturated ie the green bar isn't full or ISN'T the highest searched into your meta keywords. You will have less competition and will most likely rank for those keywords once you have established your site in Google.

Here are some tips that will help you write effective titles:

    • Place your most important keyword phrase at the beginning of the tag
    • Use your primary keyword phrase in the title tag at least once
    • Avoid using the same words multiple times
    • Use plural form of keyword phrases, especially which includes a complete singular word
    • Use title or sentence case; do not use caps
    • Keep your title tag limit under 70 to 90 characters; longer sentences don’t give any value but they can be a hurdle in deep crawl of your web page
    • Avoid using special characters such as ! @ # $ ^ & * ( }[ ? /
    • Avoid using stopping words such as or, and , with, for, by, etc
    • Use unique title tag for each page, since each page has unique content
    • Make your title interesting and compelling to the reader to convince them why they should click there

And some tips for writing meta description tags:

    • Describe your complete web page in one single line or in a very brief paragraph
    • Keep your keywords in mind, but focus on dynamic verbs words with respect to page relevancy
    • Do no write a generic description for every page; Each page should have a unique description based on its theme
    • Keep the description tag’s limit under 225 to 250 characters, longer sentences won’t give any value but they can be hurdle in deep crawl of your web page
    • Avoid using special characters such as ! @ # $ ^ & * ( }[ ? /
    • Avoid all capital letter; use sentence case
    • Use motivational lines that compel visitors to click through
    • Don’t misguide search engine visitors, write what is actually available on the page

And most importantly, use your common sense!

Samreen gave some really good advice there. I might add, write naturally, but tell a story. Folks love stories. Sell the sizzle not the steak or in other words the benefits not the features. Relieve their pain or make them feel good and they will be putty in your hands.

First tell about the niche of your site. Also be careful while choosing main keywords as they should match with the contents of your web page to keep the SEs happy.
