Suggest Me some Good web host

Hi,

Can you please tell me some of the best hosts available out there? I've been using Shopaserver over the past few months. Had no problem. But, I don't find them reliable anymore.

I'm considering a switch to Hostgator. If there's something better I'm missing, Please let me know.

But in my opinion Godaddy and hostgator is good.
But if you want to use local hosting, it good too, because you can get direct customer service

 

If you are looking for a dedicated server and a reliable provider with a good rep and very decent prices, I would recommend tailormadeservers.com -- contact Jose. He often runs special offers and if you act fast, you can get a nice little quad-core server with decent RAM for under a hundred bucks a month.

What are you looking for? Shared hosting or dedicated box?

If you just want shared hosting then i recommend hostgator. I've been with them for 2 years and haven't had any problems.

Well if you plan to run a low resource usage site then hostgator is good.

 

I have been using godaddy for more than a year now. Never had any problems. and in 1-2 instances when I contacted support, they were quick and helpful.

Though I would have loved it if their interface was not so complicated.... very messy interface... something simple and straightforward would have been cool. Apart from that, I never faced any problem.

I have not used hostgator so cannot comment on that... but I have found that many people recommend hostgator. But you would want to consider those recommendations carefully because most of them are affiliates

 

I've been with Hostgator before. They are very cheap and their servers are evidently very good. But I've had a few bad experiences with their support.

 

HostGator is awesome, but it really depends on what you are hosting and how much you want to pay.
As far as free hosts go I have found that HelioHost and x10Hosting are the best for me.

 

I have been using ipage.

I think their Customer Support is beyond Excellent. They really care about their Customers.

I haven't faced any problems with ipage.
