    thats a stupid question.

    just go to DMOZ and look at the popular categories.

    we could go on all day....real estate, finance, society etc etc

    I've got 2 niche directories - crafts and pets.

    Most have Arts for crafts and pets usually have no place other than Other; so a pets category might be something not many other directory of directories have.
