    The problem with asking for advice on the best web host is that you'll get 50 replies that are mostly different answers, many of which are people shilling their own web hosting service..

    The hard truth is that the best hosting you can get is a dedicated server, which unfortunately never seems to get cheaper as the years go by (still wish I could get a financial explanation as to why)... you may have to either consider getting a dedicated server, or look into hosting your video files on services like Amazon A3, which is pay-per-file-use rather than a flat monthly fee.

    I believe Hostgator is the best shared hosting so far. So if you are now getting more traffic I recommend purchasing a VPS. Or if you don't want to have VPS as VPS is quite complicated I recommend MediaTemple. It is good for high traffic sites.

    with respect to others suggestions, i say go for semi dedicated.

    it is like shared account but you will be given more resources cause less people are sharing the server.
