I have converted My forum from MYBB to VB recently, i am in need of free plugins, could anyone suggest me the plugins names, which are suitable to display the ads like adbrite, or bidvertiser at the top of the site and below the forum posts.

I have googled a lot, but didnt find a good one..

are you active vB license customer ? Then u should search in vbulletin.org and not on the google, unless you are really good with google

I think you can do your requested modifications even with out a plugin.
You have adlocation templates in styles and templates, you add the code in to the templates and check out which suits you best, there are over 6 options

You can add them very easily via the ACP. They have templates set up already, you just fill in the black template & your ad shows!

Admin CP > Style Manager > Edit Templates > Ad Location Templates

I think he pointed out where to go, maybe use Google AdSense http://www.google.com/adsense

vBulletin Ad Mangement. Awesome mod but i'd rather use templates :)

you don't need to find any free templates if you plan to add them in your existing format, you will need to find ads to be published
You have to basically edit your template with the ad-code, just try accessing your template system first, I think you are not making any effort to search it.

ANY free theme/skin for vB that is worthy of having is already compatible with the existing inserts I gave... as in, it's STOCK vB.

you can do that by editing the templates.

if you can tell us where exactly you want the ads, maybe we can tell you which templates to edit.

otherwise you can use this plugin:

    http://redtyger.co.uk/manual.php?product=vB+Ad+Management&version=5.02

(I am not sure if the above plugin can insert ads between posts).

Im going to do quite the opposite and tell you what you shouldn't install. Chatboxes and huge unwanted mods are temping but should never be installed. makes the site look bloated and just not worth visiting. Look at how DP is plain and simple and thats how it should be. You should check out the simple mods that enhances the user's experience not change it totally.

The default AdLocation template is more than enough.
No need to use any thirdparty plugin when you can get even better results with builtin feature.
