Suggest me a script for my site.

    Hey guys, I'm looking forward to open up a website where I want to post latest music daily as individual topics. The thing is, I don't really think Wordpress or a Forum script (phpbb etc.) would be good for that. I just need a minimal script with a decent theme that I can use for my purpose.
    Kindly suggest me something excluding blog scripts and forum scripts.

    Not really. To be honest, I'm much of a beginner in the website development stuff.
    If you can explain me about CMS in detail (instead of throwing a wikipedia link), It wud be great and help my purpose.

    it would still be easiest to start with a wordpress and a custom theme
