    I absolutely loved this film, even more so than LOTR and the Harry Potter series. I grew up reading the Narnia Chronicles and was glad to see it stayed true to the original text. There were some moments which made this film stand alone, and for me, these were the visual efffects, particularly the characters such as Tumnus and the centaurs, the beavers, etc. However, I felt that watching Tilda Swinton (who did a great job- she was very very cold) was watching a spoof of Cate Blanchett's Galadriel in LOTR.

    Have you Tried the Series "Band of Brothers"?, Its a really touching and great series from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. And as you like saving Private ryan, I'm sure you will like this one too.
    Also, you can try "Platoon".

    I suggest everyone to watch "The Pursuit of Happyness". It's a movie that gives us inspiration and encouragement to go on with life whatever it takes and however big the obstacles that we may face along the way. This is a great movie, indeed! :)
